In this two day visit, the Archbishop commented, “The damage of conflict to the community of Marawi is disheartening, but what is wonderful and heartening to see is the enthusiasm of both Christian and Maranao youth  and the cooperation for peace to help the displaced people.  CBCP-NASA is here to promote peace and give its assistance to our people."

CBCP-NASA provides livelihood assistance of 5,000 sarisari stores with an allotted 20 Million Budget for the displaced people in Marawi.   Archbishop Tria Tirona is the present chairman of CBCP-NASA/ Caritas-Philippines, a social action arm of the Catholic Bishop's Conference of the Philippines.
