Gainza trade fair 2026 holds presscon

The Bishop Francisco Gainza Trade Fair (BFGTF) 2026 Media Conference gathered 19 media partners and key collaborators in Camarines Sur last August 10, 2026 at the Johanine Hall of the Naga Metropolitan Cathedral.  

Fr. Francis A. Tordilla, director of Caceres Commission on  Communications, started the event with his opening remarks. In his speech he welcomed and acknowledged all the participants and media personnel present in the conference. After which  the Gaiza Trade Fair media gathering continued productively.

"When I was asked by Mr. Jay Percival Ablan, provincial director of the Department of Trade and Industry, what my target sales for this year's Bishop Francisco Gainza Trade Fair, I answered with so much confidence that we would reach the P30 million quota for our exhibitors" Rev. Fr. Erwin Bismonte, the BFGTF project director revealed during the 16th Media Conference.

This year's event coincides with the celebration of the 75th anniversary of Caceres as an Archdiocese. With the active participation of the business community, the Jubilee's theme "Gabos kaayon, Gabos may gibohon" is strongly advocated by this activity.

The organizer likewise adapted the theme of the Archdiocese of Caceres for this year's fair "Ina: Nurturing a Growing Church," as it promotes the goal of the 2026 BFGTF to help local and small entrepreneurs. Moreso, the strong partnership between the government and private organizations is a fostering act of the BFGTF to the increasing participation of local and small businesses in the province.

Provincial Director Jay Ablan of the Department of Trade and Industry, and key collaborators including the Department of Agriculture represented by Mr. Pat Callao, PESO Camarines Sur Manager Rodresha Torallo, Camarines Sur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CSCCI) represented by Ms. Joan Villagas, Metro Naga Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI) President Emelita O. Menes and Robinsons Mall Manager Kristina Francia G. Daquioag, expressed their heartfelt messages of solidarity and support.

The latter part of the press conference concluded with an open forum. Discussions regarding the possibility of setting up an additional venue will be discussed in the coming days as more entrepreneurs continue to express interest in joining the exhibit.
