Our devotion to INA started when we were still kids. On my end, my father, who was a "voyador", would tag us along during Traslacion and Fluvial procession, we will look for him among the throngs of voyadores. It was also my mother who taught us how to recite the Novena to INA.</p>
<p>I was born to a poor family, and every time we face difficult situations and challenges, my parents would tell us &ldquo;Mag arang lang kita ki Ina (Let&rsquo;s pray and ask for Ina&rsquo;s intercession)&nbsp; On my husband&rsquo;s end, my mother-in-law was his great influence in his faith journey, eventually he became a "voyador".

Until now, we still join the throngs of pilgrims and devotees during Traslacion and the Fluvial Procession with our family. That strong faith and devotion was passed on to our own family. INA accompanied us, as we started our own family. The first gift we opened during our wedding day on Sept, 15, 1985, was the Image of Our Lady of Penafrancia. Since then, she became our constant intercessor in our faith journey as a family. We are an ordinary couple, with simple dreams for our family, to raise our children with God as the center of their being. With the intercession of INA and God&rsquo;s favours and graces, our children grew up to be God fearing and all of them served in the different Ministries of our Parish.

We turn to INA when we seek guidance for any decisions affecting our family, especially in raising up our four children. Our work required us to be away from home, and 3 among our children were sickly. Honestly, as parents it was normal for us to worry not only when they are sick, but during bad weather, however, we were confident that INA will provide them the mantle of protection and the care of a loving mother. True enough, INA intercedes for us, all the time. Indeed we are totally dependent on INA&rsquo;s intercessions, and we are immensely grateful to God for the many answered prayers for the past 37 years of our blissful union. INA is our BFF (Best Friend Forever) in times of struggles and life&rsquo;s celebrations. INA is home.
